The speaker performance and the variety and quality of the sounds, including organs and electric pianos, have been significantly improved compared to the previous P-515 model.
The NWX wooden keyboard, highly praised for its feel, has been replaced by the GrandTouch S™ keyboard with 88 keys. This brings the playing experience even closer to the touch and feel of a grand piano.

The P-525 is equipped with the superbly playable GrandTouch S keyboard, which can also be found in Yamaha's first-class Clavinova digital pianos. The feel of the keyboard is as close as possible to that of a grand piano.
The GrandTouch S keyboard also simulates the sound variations that result from the subtle differences in velocity, touch speed and touch position. The white keys are made of solid wood and their laminated structure makes them resistant to warping and particularly durable.
