The “Series S” is a special blend of modern function and traditional craftsmanship. This series is for those who want to leave the beaten track.
Deeply rooted in the sound of the past but with an eye to the future, the specially developed “Grand Vintage II” pickups deliver a warm, round tone and excellent definition.
The volume of the neck pickup can be adjusted separately using the additional control on the cutaway. This allows you to switch between different levels of distortion for the two pickups.
First-class mahogany is used for the “Series S”. Combined with a maple top and a rosewood fingerboard, the “Series S” produces the powerful and assertive sound you expect from an instrument of this class.
A 5-ply deluxe binding, Duesenberg nickel hardware, “Wing” fingerboard inlays and a transparent-brown finish for the sides and back (Burst models only) make this instrument a lifelong companion.
