Duesenberg Double Cat 12str. sunburst

The Double Cat is made from the best solid alder with large resonance chambers, the flat maple top is adorned with an elegant F-hole in cat-eye style. The special construction of a solid but partially hollow-cut alder body in combination with a flat maple top and a one-piece maple neck gives the Double Cat the special sound that musicians all over the world have come to appreciate.

The Double Cat is equipped with our tried-and-tested pickup combination of the classically tuned GrandVintage humbucker at the bridge and the warm and creamy-sounding Domino P90 single coil in the neck position. Our special circuit is activated in the middle position of the solid 3-way switch, in which certain low frequencies are specifically filtered out of the humbucker signal. This expands your sound palette with an open and extremely versatile additional sound.

The quality of the fingerboard also clearly reveals the degree of care with which the instrument has been built.

Every Duesenberg instrument undergoes the patented PLEK process for perfect fret and nut alignment. The result is a completely buzz-free, flat and balanced string action from the lowest to the highest position.
