The LITTLE MARK legacy continues!
The Little Mark III, is considered the industry standard for sound, power, size, weight and value. It was the previous flagship of the Markbass tops, which date back to the first "Little Mark". The big bang of Markbass tops, so to speak.
Compared to its predecessor, the new Little Mark IV 300 top has a number of advanced functions. The new BI-BAND limiter in version "IV" reacts faster and more dynamically and is a good choice for all those who get along well with an output of 300 watts.
In addition, the Little Mark IV 300 has a MUTE switch and a 3-way switch that includes FLAT / scooped MID or FSW (footswitchable) equalizer options.
UPDATED 4-BAND EQ, OLD-SCHOOL FILTER, 3-WAY SWITCH
The new 4-band equalizer has very effective controls that make it easy to dial in the sound you want. Each of the 4 bands can be boosted or cut by up to 16 dB. This allows you to cover all the tonal nuances required in the various musical genres. For a round and smooth sound, the high frequencies can also be processed with the old school filter. The 3-way rotary switch enables a super-balanced flat sound, or a "scooped preset", which lowers the mids and simultaneously boosts the bass and treble - ideal for slap sounds. If the rotary switch is set to "FSW", both "MUTE" and the "Scooped preset" can be switched on/off by connecting an optional double footswitch.
BI-BAND LIMITER
The new bi-band limiter reacts faster and more dynamically to signals than conventional limiters and delivers a more natural sound with fast and powerful attacks at high volumes. The perfect choice for those who prefer that.
MUTE / LINE OUT LEVEL CONTROL / PRE-POST EQ switch
On the front of the amplifiers of the Little Mark IV series there is a practical MUTE switch and the LINE OUT level control, which precisely regulates the signal to the mixer / PA. On the back is a PRE / POST EQ switch, which can be used to adjust the signal at the LINE OUT (XLR) before or after your EQ as required.
MPT - MARK PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY
Many other bass amplifiers on the market use power amps that are not specifically designed for bass. At Markbass, Marco De Virgiliis invested heavily in research and development to create proprietary power amp technology in-house. Our MPT power amplifiers have been completely redesigned to retain the inherent sound of an instrument and merely amplify it.
